Every year, Home & Design Magazine publishes their Landscape Projects of the Year, which recognizes outstanding landscape design and construction projects that exemplify creativity, craftsmanship, and thoughtful planning in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Each submission highlights the property’s location, scale, and acreage, while showcasing its most distinctive features—from architectural details and plant selections to hardscape elements and unique amenities.
Entrants are evaluated on how their overall plan enhanced the natural beauty of the property, created or improved focal points, and elevated the functionality of the space. The award celebrates firms whose work demonstrates innovation, attention to detail, and pride in delivering remarkable outdoor environments.
We’re honored to be included in this year’s list of exceptional landscape projects.

Our featured project is Nestled on a sprawling 10-acre estate in Great Falls, Virginia that we transformed into an iconic outdoor masterpiece. The centerpiece is a breathtaking 10,000-sq ft glass-roof conservatory, complemented by a 1,400-sq ft working greenhouse, both meticulously integrated into the grounds via bluestone and pea gravel pathways, signature stacked-stone walls and stairs, and a custom fountain with travertine inlay. Rich horticultural detail—including hydrangea, crape myrtles, elms, ginkgo, Italian cypress, holly, boxwoods, and seasonal blooms—along with thoughtful lighting, breathe life and vibrant color throughout the estate.
